FIGARO in the media

The project drew coverage in the countries hosting test sites:

• Spain: report on La 2 (TVE) and an interview on UPV TV, January 2014 (La 2, UPV TV).
• Euronews: a feature with scientific coordinator Adriano Battilani on getting more crop from less water, broadcast in several languages.
• European Commission: an article on the Horizon 2020 news site.
• Italy: reports on Telesanterno (Emilia-Romagna) around the Bologna meeting; coverage of the Bologna meeting in the farm press; the Acqua Campus opening.
• Greece: early press coverage (2013); TV reports on ENA Channel, Delta TV and Center TV after the Kavala meeting of June 2016; an interview with Prof. Georgios Sylaios on Delta TV's “Agricultural World” (10 November 2016), after which many farmers asked about the platform.
• Industry: Netafim's own review of the project.
• CommNet: the 2014 Innovation Catalogue, which featured FIGARO's work on higher yields with less water.
